EMERALD was founded in 2004 in response to demands for regular Muslim Social events to be hosted at respectable venues, aimed primarily at Muslim professionals any background, to enhance their network of Muslim contacts. It has evolved since the inception, showcasing Arts, Businesses and Charities.

EMERALD is FREE to join, simply use the "Join us" option to sign up to the mailing list, which simply constitutes being a member of EMERALD.

The core and foundation of EMERALD is the Social events which formed the origin of the network. Proud to have hosted in excess of 150 events since the inception in 2004, a regular calendar of events featuring something for everyone, ranging from informal small socials (Al Frida, Mowtown Mondays), through to annual events such as Iftar on the Thames, Muslims LOL Comedy Charity event, New Year City Networking (SquareMileMuslims) and Eid Events (across the United Kingdom). In addition to own programme, EMERALD have been delighted to be official promoters of a number of events hosted by other organisations (eg. Soul City Arts, and charities) through to flagship events aimed at the Ummah (eg Global Peace and Unity, Eid in the Square).

EMERALD have promoted leading events which include Global Peace & Unity at London's Excel, in addition to Mayor of London's 'Eid in the Square". EMERALD also have undertaken campaigns for leading organisations and charities to promote causes and events. Please get in touch if you are interested in a promotional campaign - rates vary according to requirements. However please note - we are NOT responsible for any content and organisation of the third party events and initiatives, we bring to your attention with good intention.

All bookings are made on-line, with proof of booking being your PayPal / email receipt. No physical tickets are issued unless otherwise stated.

EMERALD make it clear, ONLY in the unlikely event of an event being cancelled or rescheduled to an alternative date, will refunds be offered, otherwise with regret all amounts are invested in the running of the event.

EMERALD have since the inception hosted events in London, Birmingham, Leicester, Sheffield, Manchester and internationally affiliated events in Amman, Casablanca, Granada, Istanbul, Jerusalem and Sydney.

EMERALD have since the inception hosted events in response to both natural disasters and on-going crisis such as drought, hunger in affected regions and countries overses (in excess of a dozen countries to-date), in addition to local causes such as cancer, homeless and womens' shelter.

EMERALD events have the simple dress code of smart casual - but modest. However, on instances some of the formal events are Business/ formal attire, and our informal masterclasses are casual. Look out for the detail per event, however MODESTY is requested, which need not be defined but if curious - think attire suitable to enter a mosque, pray. Persons failing to adhere to our request may be refused admission or asked to leave. We recognise there are infinite forums out there, however EMERALD prides itself of striving to deliver events suitable to practising Muslims.

EMERALD ensure all events serve halal food and no alcohol is present. We strive also to serve vegetarian options too. If you have a specific request please enquire in advance.

EMERALD since its inception has been featured in various capacities and mentioned across a number of leading mainstream and faith-specific titles and channels, they range from TIME magazine, BBC TV, Radio and bbc.co.uk, Emel Magazine, Islam Channel and Channel S.
