We therefore are proud to host and promote learning, from Islamic Courses (include Journey through the Qur’an and Islamic History – please visit IslamicCourses.org – quote ‘EMERALD’ when booking), through to practical lifestyle courses (eg. life coaching, Photography, Arabic by Arabica).

Fun social events based around learning, without the formality of academic structure, therefore very much interactive and hands on. To-date EMERALD have collaborated with various providers of such events which include Archery, Street Photography, Mocktail making and Henna. EMERALD have promoted businesses since the inception in addition to providing a perfect platform where individuals can use the events to promote their venture. In addition, members can use events (and the facebook group) as a forum to undertake research, on instances to test products, sell at the events (via stalls) and more. EMERALD recognises the importance of inspiring entrepreneurs within the Ummah, and connect professionals for mutual and collaborative benefit too, eg. a member seeking Accounting or Legal advice can most often connect at an event to gain trusted contact with professionals. EMERALD will promote Enterprise-related initiatives and seek to showcase businesses via the NEW Directory coming soon. The core and foundation of EMERALD are the Social events which formed the origin of the Network. Proud to have hosted in excess of 300+ events since the inception in 2004, EMERALD have featured regularly in the UK calendar of events – with something for everyone; ranging from informal small socials (in the past we hosted Green Thursdays, Motown Mondays etc), through to iconic annual events – the archive includes:

In addition to EMERALD’s own programme, EMERALD have been delighted to be official promoters of a number of events hosted by other organisations from time to time in a formal capacity, they include the Mayor of London’s Eid Festival in Trafalgar Square, charity collaborations and promotors/advisers for Muslim Lifestyle Shows.

Since 2011 EMERALD have periodically promoted travel excursions hosted by the leading travel operators of its kind in the UK aimed at the Muslim market – IslamicTravels.com – with whom EMERALD have forged a wonderful link which saw many members travel to various destinations of Islamic heritage, including Bosnia, Jordan & Jerusalem, Spain and Turkey. EMERALD have promoted leading events in the UK Calendar on an official capacity which include Global Peace & Unity at London’s Excel, in addition to Mayor of London’s ‘Eid in the Square”. EMERALD also have undertaken campaigns for leading organisations and charities to promote a wide range of causes and events, recent examples include the Urban Muslim Women’s Show in London.
