WE ARE EMERALD

Established in the Spring of 2004, EMERALD has grown from strength to strength by the grace of God, support from within the Ummah (Muslim community). Now established as the longest and leading Muslim professional Network of its kind, EMERALD has membership spanning diverse professions and locations, beyond the United Kingdom.

The vision for EMERALD is to Connect the Ummah, through Networking – enabling individual and collective benefits. The success stories reflect this, from individuals enhancing their personal and social lives through interaction with Muslims they would otherwise have not met had it not been for the events programme, through to gaining inspiration and knowledge from a faith perspective (embarking on personal spiritual journey), promoting and developing businesses, recruiting, through to raising money for a wide range of causes, responding to emergencies, saving lives through fundraiser events.

EMERALD have hosted a thorough programme of events of our own in addition to collaborated with other organisations, and this will continue God willing as the key is to collaborate to unite resources and skills within the Ummah and beyond, as part of inter-faith projects and showcasing the best we have in the Ummah to the wider world and communities. Our key areas include the Arts, Businesses and Charities. The range of initiatives has grown since our inception too, and we are always happy to explore creative ideas as reflects EMERALD’s innovative vision of being pioneers bringing events and ideas which have since become regular dates in the calendar and inspired others to adopt which we are happy to have played that role.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE?

Putting FAITH above FLAG – the openness and celebration of diverse cultures is one differentiating factor, along with the independent structure of EMERALD – with no affiliation to organisations nor politcal agendas, it makes EMERALD unique. EMERALD also has an open door policy of enabling ALL to promote their own initiatives/events in-person at EMERALD-hosted events, as EMERALD believe in respectfully benefiting the Ummah, help others to help others.
